Dana Robert
Dana
Robert opened the Yoga Boutique in February 2007 as the culmination
of a life-long interest in fitness. She minored in Dance at the
University of Iowa, received a Masters in Social Work from the University
of Illinois and has been teaching dance and fitness since graduation.
Concurrently she took a job as a bond trader. Everything in her
life soon became intense, from her career as a trader at the Chicago
Board of Trade, to her passion in extreme sports such as Ironman,
marathons, triathlons and boxing. It was a bittersweet event that
guided Dana towards yoga. After severely injuring both shoulders
from boxing Dana turned to yoga for physical therapy. The doctors
thought that her fitness days were going to be minimal and a double
shoulder surgery was to be in her future. She took her future into
her own hands and used Yoga as a means of physical therapy. After
she learned to relax and slow down her mind and body on the mat
she took her learning off the mat. She received her Yoga Alliance
certification from Frog Lotus Yoga Studio in Massachusetts. Soon
after this she quit her job as a Trader, turned in the keys to her
“Beamer” and decided to find the true pursuit of happiness…yoga!
Danny Benoit
Danny was turned onto yoga through a girlfriend in
1997. His relationship with yoga is as strong as ever! At first
it was a love affair with the physical benefits yoga can bring.
Today it is a growing love of "taking yoga off the mat"
and into his daily life. After years of unfulfilled corporate work
Danny left Southern California for a year long road trip throughout
the US and Mexico to clear his head and rediscover himself. This
clarity led him to Nepal where he taught Nepali's to fly airplanes
in the Himalayas'. He searched throughout his village of Bharatpur
for a yoga studio. He discovered through his students the only yoga
studios in Nepal were in the major cities... where the tourist are,
not in his village. Inspired by conversations with his students,
he started teaching yoga in the flight school airplane hangar. The
"Asana Courses" in B.K.S. Iyengar's book "Light on
Yoga" would be his teaching guide. After nearly a year in Nepal
he headed back to the U.S. and settled in Chicago close to his family.
Through his travels he discovered what he wanted out of life. To
teach. "The peaks of joy I've experience in seeing a student
achieve their "next level" is a driving force in my life.
Be it a student soloing an airplane or standing on their head for
the first time. Using my knowledge and experiences to help others
grow is as gratifying as it gets for me." Danny is a 200hr
Certified Yoga Instructor with a focus in Power Vinyasa Yoga inspired
by Baron Baptiste and Ana Forrest. When he is not in the studio
he enjoys flying airplanes, riding his motorcycle and bicycle, taking
photos, making people laugh, chasing sunsets and watching sunrises.

Charlotte Munn
Charlotte is living proof that yoga can change your
life. Like so many others, she came to yoga to combat the aches
and pains of being a workout enthusiast and what she found was astounding
positive change in all aspects of her life. After a week of regular
practice she just didn’t feel right unless she went to yoga.
Charlotte began attending classes six days a week and saw how it
changed her body and settled her mind in ways that impacted everything
in her life. It was a natural path for her to become a teacher and
she completed multiple Yoga Alliance certifications in a variety
of different styles. She teaches in yoga studios and wellness centers
throughout the Chicago area and enjoys teaching to students of all
fitness and experience levels. Her classes encourage students to
push their physical edge while learning to love and listen to their
bodies with a gentle and accepting mind. With a lifelong background
as a theatre artist, she has found that teaching and practicing
yoga aid in her continued quest for ultimate truth and transformation.
Anna Schabold
Anna has studied Forrest Yoga since 2005 and has completed the Forrest
Yoga Teacher Training Foundation Course. She emphasizes the benefits
that the sanctuary of the yoga mat offers from the demands of hectic
daily life. Drawing from the strength she discovered in herself
through her practice, Anna left her corporate position in June 2008,
and embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Realizing that her
passion lay in sharing yoga with others, she decided to answer her
calling to teach and became certified in April 2009. Compassionately
holding safe space for joyful exploration, Anna empathically guides
her students with a supportive voice, strong breath, and healing
touch. She desires to lead others to breathe deeply with mindfulness,
connecting to their bodies and creating awareness, and discover
the gifts of yoga: quieting the mind, strengthening the body, and
nourishing the spirit. Her training off the mat includes a B.A.
in International Studies from Loyola University Chicago, a Green
Belt in the Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts International Blend
System, and is studying Burmese Bando Yoga, comprised of Dhanda,
Longi, & Letha Yoga.
Linnea Schlegel
Linnea, a recent college graduate of Loyola University Chicago has
been a dancer all her life. With a degree in Physics and minor in
dance, Linnea aims to exercise her participants in mind, body, and
spirit. She frequently uses dancer-inspired exercises in strategic
ways to elongate, strengthen, and stretch muscles, promoting a long
and lean body. Linnea now dances professionally for AMEBA Acrobatic
and Aerial Dance Company and teaches cycling, core strengthening,
dance and many other classes around Chicago.
Sarah Will
Sarah Will has a background in dance (ballet, aerial, modern, butoh,
etc...) Although she no longer performs she takes several workshops
throughout the year and is on the Board of Directors for Breakbone
Dance Company. Sarah wandered into her first yoga class while she
was still in college and hated it. Several years later, after sustaining
mulitple repetitive use and traumatic injuries, she decided to give
yoga another try. This time she wandered into an ashtanga class
and loved it! She has been hooked ever since. Sarah received her
first teacher training certification in 2006, and has been building
on it for the past three and a half years. She is now a very well
rounded teacher with primary focuses on Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power
Vinyasa, Yin, and most recently, Taoist Flow. You may also notice
at times she may add Feldenkrais method and anatomy training into
her class. In Sarah’s free time she operates a German Shepherd
Rescue (CFWGSDR), as well as provides transportation for other rescue
organizations.
